It is no secret the Chicago Bears are in dire need of wide receiver help, and general manager Ryan Poles will have plenty of options as the offseason gets kicked into a higher gear shortly.

When the new league year begins on March 16, free agents are able to make contracts official. But, before then, we might see some trade action.

The Bears have some candidates of their own which they need to make decisions on. There are a handful of players the Bears could cut in order to save some money or trade if they can find a taker.

Likewise, the Cleveland Browns may be headed in the same direction with one prominent player: wide receiver Jarvis Landry.

Jarvis Landry hinted at a potential exit from Cleveland, and the Chicago Bears should attempt to trade for the 5-time Pro Bowler

Just this past season, the Browns already decided to move on from Odell Beckham Jr., watching him go on to win a Super Bowl with the Los Angeles Rams. Now, they might be looking to part with Landry, who is scheduled to count over $15 million against their cap this season.

At one point, Landry looked like a candidate to join the Bears before signing a massive extension with Cleveland. Now, there are rumors of the Browns asking Landry to restructure his deal, or potentially be cut.

The Browns can cut Landry and only receive a dead cap hit of $1.5 million, which is very minimal.

Therefore, if Cleveland attempted to trade him to get something in return, the asking price likely wouldn’t be too high. But, the Bears should absolutely give it a shot, offering something along the lines of the following trades.
