Ryan Poles and Matt Eberflus will be in Indianapolis this week for all the combine festivities as the Chicago Bears’ top duo. This is a big week for the team to learn about some of the top prospects in the 2022 NFL draft. While the team does not pick until the second round, how some of these players perform this week could help decide whether or not a player will fall to them.

With that in mind, who are three wide receivers who may leave this week with much higher NFL draft stock than they came in with?

3. George Pickens, Georgia

This week will be as big for George Pickens as arguably any other wide receiver this week. Pickens was all set to be a first-round pick this time last year. Unfortunately for him, his 2021 season came to a crashing end very quickly when he tore his ACL.

However, now the ACL injury looks like it was just an added layer of motivation because Pickens miraculously returned for the playoff run by Georgia after tearing his ACL in the spring.

So, Pickens is healthy, but while he played in the Bulldogs last game, he did not look to be back to complete strength. After some time off Pickens plans to test at the combine and show all scouts and coaches that he did not lose a step when the injury occurred.

If Pickens can show that he is an elite athlete, he may creep back into the first round. At the worst, he may establish that his floor is being the 39th pick to the Chicago Bears.
