2. Jahan Dotson, Penn State

Jahan Dotson had a very successful career at Penn State. In some regards, the quarterback play helped Dotson, because he was able to show off his catch radius. In other areas, he was held back by his college quarterback throughout his time with the Nittany Lions.

Dotson comes off as a possession wideout but was never able to find a quarterback who could get the timing right with him. So, Dotson had a great career, but he could be looked at in even more high regard had he had a better quarterback. With that in mind, this week could do wonders for his NFL draft stock.

If you have followed the combine in the past you know that Penn State athletes are prepared for these events. Every year, a Penn State star or two shoots up the draft board because they had an unreal event. Beyond the athletic testing, a test like a gauntlet will show off the strength, speed, hands, and coordination that Dotson possesses. The drill is suited best for him.

Dotson is expected to be one of those players. He is another player that could see his stock shoot into round one territory. At the very least, he could be another player who solidifies that the Chicago Bears will be making him their first pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. All eyes will be on the Penn State star as he gets ready to make a name for himself.
