1. Mark GlowinskiÂ
The Chicago Bears have to decide what to do with James Daniels. He is going to expect a big payday, and while he is homegrown talent, this regime did not draft him. If they go a different direction, perhaps a cheaper direction to sign a right guard, they could be looking at Mark Glowinski.
Glowinski was looked at as a bust with the Seattle Seahawks before he came to the Indianapolis Colts. He stepped into start during the middle of 2018, then was a foundational piece in 2019 and 2020.
He took a bit of a step back in 2021 and will be 30 this offseason. The combination has his market a bit lower than Daniels, but snap-per-snap, Glowinski may have been better since 2019. Eberflus is a defensive coach, but he said that he loved to go room to room and loved to view the team as a whole. That meant getting to know players such as Glowinski.
The relationships formed are vital for making choices such as this. Will the Chicago Bears be interested because Eberflus is pushing for it, or does Eberflus know about Glowinski and wants the team to stay away?
