For the Chicago Bears, this is the offseason in which they finally rebuild their offensive line. Over the past few years, they have plugged in a couple of players here and there, but to no avail.

Finally, it appears they have the tackle positions locked in. Last year, the Bears traded up and snagged Teven Jenkins in the second round who is now healthy and looks to play a full, healthy season in 2022.

Chicago also drafted Larry Borom in the fifth round, who looks to be a great value as he’ll get the first crack at the other starting tackle position this offseason.

Now, it’s on new general manager Ryan Poles to fill in the interior. This week, the NFL Combine features plenty of talent to watch — and plenty of guys the Bears will have an opportunity to draft.

The 2022 NFL Combine will be a chance for the Chicago Bears to see a few select offensive linemen improve their draft stock

What will really make this offseason interesting is if the Bears decide to part ways with Cody Whitehair, who has been able to play both guard and center for them over the years. If they cut him, they’ll save some money, sure. But, it’ll also open up another big hole upfront.

The Bears could potentially go into free agency and the draft with three starting spots up for grabs, and that means this week is even more important to Poles and his guys.

The offensive linemen will take the field for drills on Friday afternoon, which will give fans plenty of time to watch. All five of the following linemen are worth drafting, but if some put on a show this week, they’ll make it even tougher to pass on them.
