The Chicago Bears should watch Dylan Parham at the 2022 NFL Combine

Best trait: Athleticism

One of the absolute best offensive line prospects for the Bears, in terms of fit and draft stock, is Dylan Parham out of Memphis. Head coach Matt Eberflus and general manager Ryan Poles reiterated early on at the Combine that the Bears are looking for more athleticism and speed upfront, and that’s exactly what Parham brings to the table.

It helps that Parham runs a little on the lighter side for his position, and he’ll have to put on a bit more weight once a pro. But, there are ways to do that without losing the athleticism aspect of his game.

His quickness allows him to make first contact, which is sometimes half the battle on the line. When Parham makes first contact, it obviously gives him a better shot at establishing his push.

At the moment, Parham projects to go in the third or fourth round, but with a strong Combine performance that could change. Regardless, the Bears would be in a position to take him.

Parham has also played multiple positions across the offensive line over his collegiate career. He was one of the highest-graded tackles in 2020, according to Pro Football Focus, finishing with a grade of 90.6. But, he played guard in 2021 and had another solid year. His versatility will allow
