4. Robert Tonyan

This one does not need much explanation. Robert Tonyan was drafted in 2017 by the Green Bay Packers. At that point, Getsy was the wide receivers coach. However, Getsy was working with Tonyan hands-on during the 2020 and 2021 seasons because Getsy was the passing game coordinator.

Obviously, Aaron Rodgers has plenty to do with it but Tonyan had the best year of his career in 2020. He was on track to have another strong season in 2021 before an ACL injury ended his season.

Fortunately, the injury came early enough that most would expect to see him on the field early into 2022. Still, the injury may also reduce his market. It may take a team that is familiar with him to take that chance.

Aaron Rodgers may try to bring him with him wherever it is he goes, but that is not as feasible as Chicago signing him considering they do not have to lock in big money to Rodgers first.

Tonyan could think that Getsy did a great job getting him open and want to work with a familiar name.
