The Chicago Bears have their eyes set on free agency, and this is a roster with plenty of moves to be made. While they are debating current free agents, they have to also keep in mind that other teams may be letting players go to save salary cap space as well. One team to keep an eye on is the Arizona Cardinals.

Between their collapse last season and a new quarterback contract coming, the Cardinals have plenty of decisions to make about their long-term cap situation. Who are five players that could become free agents from the Arizona Cardinals because of this?

5. Will the Arizona Cardinals cut D.J. Humphries?

The Cardinals may have a tough decision to make on D.J. Humphries. Humphries has been with the team since 2016 and is still just 28 years old. However, he also has a cap hit that could save the team $15M if he is let go this offseason.

If that happens, and the Chicago Bears could get Humphries for less than that price, it is a reasonable option to consider. We do not what Ryan Poles thinks of Teven Jenkins quite yet, but most projected him to right tackle before Ryan Pace drafted him and said he would play the left side.

Perhaps the Chicago Bears sign Humphries and have a veteran left tackle, shifting Jenkins to his more natural right side. The Bears could move Larry Borom to guard, and that would alleviate a need to bring James Daniels back. So, the question then becomes Humphries vs. Daniels. While Daniels is younger, Humphries is more proven at a more valuable position. It makes it an interesting debate.
