The Chicago Bears have a new front office, new coaching staff, and will soon have a new linebacker room. Roquan Smith is signed, as is Danny Trevathan, but Trevathan is likely on his way out.

Without him, the room will be ready to be completely re-design in the name of the new regime. The team will try to bring in fresh faces, but it is always easier to bring in some free agents that you may be familiar with. With that in mind, they could be signing one or two names from this group of familiar faces.

6. Could Ben Niemann return home with Chicago Bears?

Ben Niemann could have more than a General Manager who knows him well. Niemann is from Sycamore, Illinois, which is not far from Chicago. If he is interested in coming back to his home state, the timing may be perfect.

That is because he could catch the eye of GM Ryan Poles. Poles come from the Kansas City Chiefs, and Niemann was a player who signed as an undrafted free agent and turned into a key piece of the Chiefs Super Bowl run.

Poles and his group likely scoured the UDFA market to find a guy like him, so Poles has to feel pretty good about what he has become. More than being a starter on defense, Niemann has made his hay on special teams.

With guys such as Christian Jones and Joel Iyiegbuniwe on the way out, bringing in Ben Niemann could help.
