4. Kwon Alexander knows the Chicago Bears linebackers coach
Speaking of linebackers coach Dave Borgonzi, he got one of his big starts in Tampa Bay as their linebackers coach. Alexander was a draft pick when Borgonzi was there and his best play came during those years.
In the most recent years, Kwon Alexander has struggled to stay healthy. Still, over the past four years, he has played in eight, six, 12, and eight games. This is not the type of consistency that you want to see. Still, Alexander is still 27 years old, which puts him at about four years younger than Danny Trevathan.
Beyond that when he has been on the field he has been a helpful asset to the New Orleans Saints. The big question is health. With that, it comes with a reduced salary and a chance to take a bet on a talented linebacker for minimum risk. That signing could also lead to the team signing another linebacker on top of Alexander.
