2. Will Damien Wilson reunite with familiar faces

Damien Wilson could be a great fit. He had a fine season in 2021, but considering he was playing for the Jacksonville Jaguars and the debacle that is Urban Meyer, he is flying far under the radar.

Before that, he spent time with Ryan Poles and Matt Eberflus. First, he was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in 2015. That was when Matt Eberflus was the linebackers coach, so the two obviously are tight.

When Eberflus left Dallas in 2018, Damien Wilson left Dallas in the very same offseason. He knew change was coming and moved on to Kansas City. Of course, that means that Ryan Poles was helping bring him in, Wilson. Wilson started for two seasons with the Chiefs after being depth for the Cowboys.

Then, he got paid to be a starter in Jacksonville and jumped on it. Still, Wilson has spent seven seasons in the NFL. Four were with Matt Eberflus, two were under Ryan Poles. The relationship is there. Wilson is only 28 years old, so this makes plenty of sense as well.
