A Chicago Bears mock draft should the team sign a guy like Amari Cooper

The Chicago Bears draft wide receiver, Wan’Dale Robinson – Kentucky

I had the option to select two different receivers here. Wan’Dale Robinson and Jalen Tolbert were the two guys I had to pick from and I went with Robinson. Tolbert has some serious potential too and I’d be fine with him in the third round. However, Robinson is currently my WR10 and I had to keep with my rankings.

What I love about Wan’Dale Robinson is his explosiveness. He struggled to see touches while playing for Nebraska. However, when he transferred to Kentucky to play in the SEC, the Wildcats were able to find Robinson’s full potential. I am not about to compare him to Deebo Samuel or Tyreek HIll, but Robinson will need to be used in a similar fashion to Samuel. Robinson has a quick twitch to his game and he should be moved all around the field.

With a wide receiver like Amari Cooper locked into that classic X receiver role, Luke Getsy and the Chicago Bears can shake things up with Darnell Mooney and Wan’Dale Robinson. That would be an amazing combination of receivers to work with for Justin Fields in my opinion. Just like that, a position of need would become a position of strength for this team.
