Chicago Bears draft prospects who dominated Combine: WR Christian Watson

The Bears have to find multiple receivers over the next month and a half. Poles very well could add a couple via free agency and the draft, but one of the top targets in the draft should be Christian Watson out of North Dakota State.

Watson is a monster in terms of size, standing 6-foot-4 and weighing in at 208 pounds. His Combine performance was nothing short of excellent, as the Bison standout ran a swift 4.36 in his 40-yard dash. That was his standout drill. Now, teams are likely drooling over Watson’s towering frame and ability to get behind a defense in a hurry.

He also posted a strong vertical at 38.5 inches and a ridiculous broad jump of 136 inches.

Watson was already looked at as a sure-fire pick in the fourth round but now looks like he’s jumped into Day 2 consideration.

This is not only a fast and athletic player, which Eberflus wants to focus on, but Watson is a leader. He’s been talked about as the hardest worker on his college team, and someone people look up to and respect. That’s the kind of guy the Bears should be looking at drafting, without a doubt.
