The Chicago Bears will have their eyes set on free agency as the new NFL season ramps up The Chicago Bears will have their eyes set on free agency in just under a week. However, before that time and as the days of free agency go on, you will also see players get cut from their respective teams. The Buffalo Bills may be one team that is looking to shake up their roster and take the step to get over the edge. That could mean tough decisions on the roster.

Who are some players on the Buffalo Bills that may get cut and wind up being free agents that are worth considering?

4. Could the Buffalo Bills release Mitch Morse?

Since the Buffalo Bills signed Mitch Morse in 2019 their offense started to take off. Still, it seems as though if the Bills do shake things up on offense, it could be the offensive line. They could save $8.5M to move on from Mitch Morse, and he will be 30 this offseason.

Still, this is a player that the Chicago Bears would have to keep an eye on if he were to get away. The obvious need at center is glaring. The team would not have a long-term option, but for the next two or three years, they would have a veteran who could help Justin Fields grow. We do not know exactly how he helped Josh Allen, but it could not hurt having a trusted veteran at center.

The obvious question will be money. That is what has Buffalo flirting with the idea, and if the Chicago Bears were able to find him on a good deal, it would be a great bargain to make. As the center market is not robust now, look for salary cap issues to potentially put a few more on the market.
