Chicago Bears Pick 48: Daniel Faalele, OT – Minnesota
Daniel Faalele is a freak of nature, coming in at 6’8″, 384 lbs with sneaky athleticism. Faalele is one of the few exceptions I would make to add at left tackle, to slide Larry Borom to guard. Faalele’s very rare size heightens his ceiling as a tackle in the NFL greatly and could be a long-term solution at tackle for the Bears.
Despite his size, Faalele is surprisingly a technically sound tackle who is very good at neutralizing EDGE rushers by slowing them down and absorbing their contact. As opposed to straight-up brute force bullying them with his size.

The offensive line is what wins games in the NFL and with Teven Jenkins and Daniel Faalele at tackle, the Bears could be in a great spot going forward if things were to go in their favor.
