Chicago Bears 2022 Mock Draft 2.0: Post Khalil Mack Trade
By Ryan Olson
Chicago Bears Pick 147: Coby Bryant, CB – Cincinnatti
Coby Bryant is one of my favorite corners in the draft and was taken as high as the third round in my previous mock, but for whatever reason, he fell to me in this mock draft. Bryant being there in the fourth round would be nothing short of a miracle as I view him as more of a second-round prospect and would expect him to go in the third.
Chicago Bears Pick 149: Thayer Munford, OG/OT – Ohio State University
Thayer Munford was set to break out in 2021, but guessing by his draft stock, I’m assuming that never happened how we all hoped. Nonetheless, taking Munford would be a great risk/reward pick as his ceiling is very high.
Munford is a physical run blocker who could be a zone rushing staple for the Bears if he pans out. Munford would have lots of time to develop as I doubt he would be sprung into a starting role in his first year but would be a great backup for the time being.
Chicago Bears Pick 184: Smoke Monday, S – Auburn
Smoke Monday is yet another one of my favorite prospects. Electric ballplayer that brings the juice on every single play. He loves contact and will be very loved by any team that gets him. Monday has limited range but is very solid in man coverage and can play down in the box with ease.
Also, best name of all time.
