After a rumor brought upon the possibility of the Chicago Bears bringing in JuJu Smith-Schuster once the free agency market officially opens, Bears fans have shown mixed emotions regarding whether they want the Pittsburgh Steelers receiver making his way to the Windy City.

Should the Chicago Bears pursue wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster this free agency?

After approximately three scrolls on the Twitter timeline, there seems to be a pretty even 50/50 split of Bears fans pro-JuJu and against JuJu.

And there’s a decent argument to be made for both sides, really.

On one hand, there’s the argument that JuJu Smith-Schuster is a toxic personality to have on a team that’s got one goal in mind: Winning a Super Bowl.

However, on the other hand, there’s the argument that nowadays, the wide receivers that have gotten to this point are going to be eccentric personalities that teams have to learn to not get distracted by.

I lie in between these two arguments, personally.

When first hearing this rumor, I can’t lie and say that I was overly pleased. At first, I basically recited the reaction of when The Offices‘s Michael Scott sees that Toby return from Costa Rica and exclaims: “NO, God! No, God, please, no! No! No! NOOOOO!

*If you haven’t seen The Office by now and don’t understand that reference… C’mon now.*

However, after having some time to think about it, there aren’t too many options left in terms of attainable receivers outside the NFL Draft.

And to be honest, as long as the Chicago Bears draft Christian Watson from NDSU, they could submit blank draft cards for the remaining picks of the draft for all I care. Obviously, that’s far from the truth and the Chicago Bears should definitely not do that, but it shows how intrigued Christian Watson is to me personally.

Now, back to JuJu Smith-Schuster.

Would the Chicago Bears be better by signing JuJu? Well, let’s take a look at the positives first.
