In one of the wildest NFL offseasons ever, the Chicago Bears are finally one of the teams that does not have to worry about all of the quarterback movement.

Typically, the Bears have been a team to watch whenever quarterbacks are on the move. Fans have hardly been satisfied with Chicago’s quarterback play over the years, and just about every offseason they have questioned whether the team would make a move to acquire a sure-fire starter.

Now, things are different. First-year general manager Ryan Poles gets to come into a situation where he knows who his quarterback is. A second-year pro, Justin Fields is the guy, and now it’s about building around him.

So far in free agency, the Bears have not done as much as some fans would have liked. But, when it comes to adding wide receivers, the 2022 NFL Draft is likely the best route to go.

The Chicago Bears should come away with a talented WR in this deep draft class

With a lot of eyes on the first-round guys such as Garrett Wilson and Drake London, the Bears will be looking to draft someone in either the second or third round to fill their void at wide receiver.

Signing former Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Byron Pringle was a nice supplementary addition, but the Bears still need at least one or two more capable receivers — including someone who could potentially be their number one option.

We don’t necessarily know that Poles is looking to find a true number one receiver in this year’s draft, and we won’t know for sure until it’s over. Next year, the Bears are looking at over $100 million in cap space. Maybe, Poles puts a few things off until then.

But, for now, we look at some of the best options the Bears could draft this year, in either the second or third rounds.
