Skyy Moore is a realistic 2022 draft target for the Chicago Bears

The Bears already signed their likely slot receiver for the 2022 season in Byron Pringle, but if they don’t view him as the future of the position they could go with a guy like Skyy Moore out of Western Michigan.

At the moment, Moore is being mocked anywhere from the late second round on through the third round. He is a little undersized at 5-foot-10 but works his tail off. That’s the best trait Moore comes into the NFL with — he works for everything he gets.

Whether it’s a contested-catch — which he’s great at making — or extra yardage, Moore is relentless until the whistle blows. Moore has decent speed, running a 4.41 in his 40-yard dash. But, his long speed is more impressive.

In short areas, his footwork helps him get in position to make catches. He doesn’t separate very well, which is why he’s going to be a weapon used in short area throws where he can make his hay gaining yards after the catch. Last year, Moore caught 95 receptions for 1,292 yards and 10 scores.
