Chicago Bears end up with seven top-150 picks in this 2022 mock draft

Even though the depth on the offensive line is looking a little better as of late, the Bears could still afford some competition upfront. For this reason, they go with Nebraska’s guard/center Cam Jurgens.
As a former tight end, Jurgens brings a whole lot of athleticism to the position. He has fairly good size at 6-foot-3, but could afford to put on a little more weight at just 290 pounds.
Jurgens is a smart player, too, with the ability to play multiple positions. Depending on what the Bears do with Cody Whitehair, and if Lucas Patrick is ever injured, Jurgens could step in at a variety of spots.
Going back to his athletic profile, Jurgens can move very well in space and gets a quick jump off the line. He does not lack in explosiveness and is actually fairly strong for a guy his size. If he can put on just a little more weight, Jurgens could end up having a lengthy career as a flexible option across an NFL offensive line.
