Going from not having a pick in the first or fourth round to ending up with their last selection in the fifth round, the Bears end this draft with having an excellent haul.

The Bears finalize their draft class by selecting LSU defensive lineman Neil Farrell Jr. In his first real shot at starting an entire season last year. Farrell stepped up in a big way. The 6-foot-4 senior tallied 45 tackles including 9.5 for a loss. He showed a ton of promise as an interior pass rusher.

Farrell will slip a little bit due to his struggles against the run and should work on adding more mass and strength. He has no issues rushing the passer from inside, but if Farrell can improve against the run, he will provide a lot of value as a fifth-rounder.
