1. Quarterback

This one is pretty obvious as well. The Chicago Bears are in the weird spot where they are trying to unload a quarterback, and not add one to the room. The team would like to do something with Nick Foles, and if they can, it would leave Justin Fields with Trevor Siemian.

If they do move on from Foles, they will have to find a third, and likely fourth quarterback to come in for training camp. It would be smart to have a third quarterback on the practice squad, but that is not a player that they need to invest drat capital in.

Even if they do not feel sold on Justin Fields now is not the time to make a move and draft a quarterback. They can give Fields his year, and the team will have draft picks and cap space to figure out how to maneuver around in 2023.

Next. 5 positions Bears still need. dark

A UDFA and a possible veteran who has been around the NFL for a while and would come into competing in camp is the likely path that the Bears would take if they are going to move on from Nick Foles.
