The Chicago Bears are going to need wide receiver help. The thought is that they will address the position in the 2022 NFL draft, but they could also trade for a wideout.

Devante Parker just got traded and Brandin Cooks is reportedly on the block as well. The Bears may not be in on those names, but there are still some wide receivers that could be worth taking on.

4. Could Chicago Bears add Robby Anderson?

The Carolina Panthers are in an interesting spot. Their coach is on the hot seat and just a year after giving Robby Anderson an extension the team may be shopping him. They have to find ways to gain resources, and clearing his $12M cap hit would be beneficial as well.

The Chicago Bears could get him for this season, and have him signed for next year as well. That would be his age 29 and 30 seasons, so the team could evaluate where they stand with Anderson after the 2023 campaign.

Justin Fields is a deep-ball thrower, and Robby Anderson is a one-trick pony of sorts. His skill set is perfect for Fields, and if he is consistently taking the top off of defenses, then you could see the middle start to open up for Darnell Mooney, who is looking to establish himself as the number one in this offense.

The age, and contract matchup as does the on-field skill set. While Devante Parker cost a third-round pick, you could see Robby Anderson go for a similar at most, but most likely even less to help the team clear his salary. If that is the case then Chicago should jump on it.
