End of First Round

17. Los Angeles Chargers, Jameson Williams, WR, Alabama

The Chargers complete their wide receiver room with elite speed to help Justin Herbert unleash his arm.
18. Philadelphia, Devonte Wyatt, DL, Georgia

The rookie Wyatt can spend a year with Fletcher Cox then Cox can pass the baton to a mirror image of his prospect self.

19. New Orleans Saints, Trevor Penning, OL, Northern Iowa

The Saints feel as though we will look back on this draft as the time they stole their franchise QB and LT.

20. Pittsburgh Steelers Malik Willis, QB, Liberty

The Steelers are desperate for a QB and in a fortunate scenario, the QB Mike Tomlin loves falls to him.

21. New England Patriots, LB, Devin Lloyd

Devin Lloyd compares favorably to Kyle Van Noy, and the Patriots could use him in that role.

22. Green Bay Packers, WR, Treylon Burks, Arkansas

We know the Packers made this trade because they want to go with a young wide receiver, and this is the top one on the board.

23. Arizona Cardinals, Andrew Booth, CB, Clemson

Arizona continues to upgrade its defense with a cornerback that many see as a top 20 pick.

24. Dallas Cowboys, Tyler Smith, OL, Tulsa

This is another player that many are saying will be gone before the end of the first round. The fit makes sense as Smith can start at guard, then shift out to tackle when and if Tyron Smith gets banged up.

25. Buffalo Bills, Kenyon Green, OL, Texas A&M

The Bills have been linked to a running back, but they have to know that beefing up the offensive line helps just as much.

26. Tennessee Titans, Tyler Linderbaum, OL, Iowa

The Titans signed Ben Jones but he will not be around long-term with his age. Linderbaum can take a year at guard and then shift into the center.

27. Tampa Bay, Dax Hill, S, Michigan

This is another pick where it is hard to see him falling much lower. After losing Jordan Whitehead, a versatile safety could help.

28. Green Bay, George Karlaftis, DL, Georgia

The Packers lost Za Darius Smith in addition to Davante Adams. Here, they attempt to replace Smith after drafting Burks to fill in for Adams.

29. Kansas City Chiefs Travis Jones, DL, UConn

The Chiefs have been connected to this interior pass rusher who would fit perfect in their 4-3 scheme.

30. Kansas City Chiefs, Jahan Dotson, WR, Penn State

Of course, one of the two Chiefs picks will go to a wide receiver. With Jahan Dotson, Marquez Valdes-Scantinling. and JuJu Smith-Schuster they could feel better about the depth even without the top-end talent.

31. Cincinnati Bengals, Zion Johnson, OL, Boston College

The Bengals continue to pound the offensive line.

32. Detroit Lions, QB, Desmond Ridder, Cincinnati

Desmond Ridder seems to be the big riser in mock drafts and whether the Lions pick him or trade out, the fifth-year option makes drafting a quarterback in this spot preferred.
