Prior to the start of this month’s NFL Draft, our beloved Chicago Bears appear to be in full “rebuild” mode. Unlike Ryan Pace, Ryan Poles is very conservative with his assets during free agency. Declining to spend any big money this offseason, Poles has taken a patient approach to rebuilding this Bears roster. Aiming to build a roster that will sustain success, Poles appears set on saving his cap space until 2023.

Rostering just Dazz Newsome, Byron Pringle, Equanimeous St. Brown, and Darnell Mooney, the Chicago Bears are razor-thin with talent and depth at WR. Losing Allen Robinson to the Rams in free agency, there is currently no WR1 at Halas Hall. If Chicago is going to improve from last season, they will need coaching to improve drastically on the offensive side of the football. Leaning heavily on a better scheme and blocking up front, first-year OC Luke Getsy will aim to unlock Justin Fields’ year-two potential.

The Chicago Bears will need a few current players to break out this season

Ranking in the bottom five in nearly every statistical category the past three seasons, the Bears’ offense is desperate for change. Hoping to improve the Bears’ offense in year one, Ryan Poles and Luke Getsy have their work cut out for them. Having just three picks in the top 75 of the draft, it is going to take Poles time to add star playmakers around Fields. If Chicago is going to get out of the bottom 5 on offense in 2022, some key players will have to break out from within Halas Hall.

As we come upon the 2022 NFL Draft, here are three Bears players I think will breakout for the Chicago Bears this season.
