Chicago Bears 2022 NFL Draft Target: Skyy Moore, WR – Western Michigan

Skyy Moore out of Western Michigan is a late Day 2 receiver to keep an eye on as well. Standing at 5’10″ and 195 pounds, he is a very good athlete who is very agile and light on his feet. This really helps him get ample separation out of his breaks.

Moore is also a very good route runner. He proves this by getting open often with great footwork. He has strong hands and tracks the ball well while in flight — resulting in more 50/50 wins than you would expect from a non-physical receiver. He struggles with his release off of the line against press coverage, and his blocking technique needs work, but Skyy Moore is a name to keep an eye out for in the third round of this years’ draft.

The Bears need to address receiver in the draft, and these three names should be toward the top of their list. This is a very deep draft at receiver, so I expect Ryan Poles to select a few pass catchers for Justin Fields to utilize in the offense this upcoming season. With a lack of draft capital, I do not expect the Bears to trade up, but these are three guys the Bears should be able to get with either draft picks 39, 48 or 71.
