2. Garrett Wilson, Ohio State

NFL Comparison: Santonio Holmes

The debate between Wilson and Olave is a fair one. Olave comes in more polished, but Wilson has flashed upside in all areas of the game. Wilson is not as crisp of a route runner, but he flashes the ability to swivel his hips and move his body in ways that leave defenders on the ground.

At times he can leave his feet too early, but he can also glide in the air to make acrobatic catches. Then, Wilson is already better after the catch than Chris Olave, which defines the higher upside.

It is true that at his size, his lack of refinement could catch up to him. He cannot simply out-athlete defenders in the NFL as he got away with while at Ohio State. Still, the high-end athleticism combined with the flashes of nuance shows that he is very close to being one of the top threats at his position.
