Chicago Bears, Tyquan Thornton
2. Tyquan Thornton, Baylor /

NFL Comparison: Robby Anderson

Average Mock Draft Position: 149

Tyquan Thornton is another player that the Chicago Bears have already brought into Halas Hall. It makes sense that they would want to do work on the depth of this draft class, especially a player as fast as Tyquan Thornton.

Thornton compares to Robby Anderson athletically, but also in that Matt Rhule recruited Anderson to Temple, then Rhule recruited Thornton to play the same role in his Baylor offense.

With that in mind, the role is about the same. Thornton has small hands, and with that comes drops, but if you know Robby Anderson you know that his speed and ability to get open deep means that it only takes one shot before he is gone for a touchdown.

Thornton could offer return game ability with his speed, and at the least, he could be a fourth wideout who can come in and take the top off when the time comes. In the fifth round, this is starting to make sense for the Chicago Bears.
