One last trade option that could land Kadarius Toney on the Chicago Bears

Lastly, the Bears could be a bit more creative with their trade proposal. Chicago has already dealt one veteran pass rusher in Khalil Mack, to free up future cap space, and Robert Quinn was also a possible trade candidate this offseason.

Although Quinn set a franchise record last season with 18.5 sacks, he is not untouchable — especially not for a team amidst a rebuild. If the Bears can flip Quinn and a pick for a young, electric wide receiver, then that makes a ton of sense to do.

In this deal, the Bears send Quinn and their second pick in the second round to receive Toney and a fourth-rounder this year.

The huge benefit here for the Bears is, that not only do they get Toney, but they rid themselves of the future salary hung up on Quinn’s contract. The Giants get needed pass rush help in Quinn, plus the opportunity to add a very good player at pick number 48.

Also, the Bears still end up with six draft picks this year after obtaining that No. 112 selection from the Giants. Depending on how the draft shakes out, Poles could end up with a top-100 player at that pick — and that is yet another win.
