5 draft prospects on Chicago Bears radar who can play center or guard
3. Dylan Parham, Memphis
Average Mock Draft Position: 109
NFL Comparison: Garrett Bradbury
Dylan Parham was recruited to Memphis as a tight end. Parham redshirted his first year, then started two years at left guard, one year at right tackle, and one year at right guard for Memphis.
While he has not played center at Memphis, many are projecting him there because of his athletic attributes and his ability to pull into space. In that regard, he is comparable to Garrett Bradbury, a player who went in the first round based on his athleticsm.

Bradbury did not live up to his draft stock, but Parham is looked at as a third-round pick, not a first and if Parham could hit the upside projected into Bradbury, it would make him one heck of a steal.
Still, in the Chicago Bears’ case, they have to like that he played right guard last season and right tackle the year before that. The team certainly has a hole at right guard, and filling that with someone like Parham could be a great fit.
If Lucas Patrick does not work, they can discuss other options like moving Parham to center. The team is able to draft him as a right guard, but also have their backup plan at center instilled in them worth investing in.
Parham can struggle at times with power, but he plays with stronger hands than Cole Strange and is over a year younger. While the two are close in skill and role, the edge goes to Parham, who also may be more likely to be available in the third round.
