We are back with the second of the “would you rather” series — NFL Draft edition. In the last article, we looked at two different wide receivers who could potentially be available at pick No. 39 for the Chicago Bears. This time, we are going to take a different approach.

We are going to look at two potential trade scenarios for the team and decide which outcome fans would rather see happen. Please note, I will be specifying the players drafted as well – therefore, the point of the game is that you are unable to say, I’d make this trade but draft so-and-so instead. That’s not how the game works haha.

The Chicago Bears are somewhat of an unknown on 2022 NFL Draft strategy

This Chicago Bears team has plenty of holes to fill, but remember, the team is looking to build long-term success and that doesn’t necessarily mean being competitive in 2022. In fact, if the Ryan Poles were able to add some elite talent to this roster in 2022, that would just be the first step and sometimes quality is better than quantity.

This brings us to the Chicago Bears’ draft picks in 2022. Khalil Mack would be considered quality, but Ryan Poles chose quantity at this point because he understood that Mack would not be a part of this team’s long-term success. This move alone should not prove that Poles is always going to choose quantity over quality though. Remember how Bill Polian spoke about blue-chip players? Well, Ryan Poles job is to find such talent and that doesn’t always happen late in the NFL Draft.

Therefore, we are going to give you two different trade scenarios and let you decide which would help not only the 2022 Chicago Bears but more importantly, the Bears of the future.
