Chicago Bears best Third Round pick: Wide Receiver

The only real debate about the second round is whether they go with a wide receiver over those positions. Still, at wide receiver, they have names such as George Pickens, and Skyy Moore possibly available. Those are not even locks, but word is coming out that Christian Watson and Jahan Dotson will likely be gone as well, so it may be easier to wait on a wideout.

The reality is that while you have to hold your breath and hope an offensive lineman could fall to round three, you know that you can find a wideout in round three this year. Names such as Alec Pierce, Justyn Ross, John Metchie, Khalil Shakir, and more have round three grades, and after an early run of eight or nine wideouts in the top 50, you could see a good portion of the second wave still be on the board at pick 71.

It is hard to leave the first two rounds without a wideout, but it is even harder to jam in an offensive lineman in the third round when the fit is not there. If they do pass on the offensive line, they may be best served to double up on day three.
