3. Bernard Raimann would be a great haul for Chicago Bears

Bernard Raimann has an upside that makes you question why he would possibly fall this low, and a downside that could see Ryan Poles passing on him. The two biggest issues with Raimann are his age and his arm length.

Raimann is going to come into the NFL at 24 years and will be 25 as a rookie. Ryan Poles is signing 25-year-old free agents, not drafting them. Still, Raimann is not raw for his age, despite the fact that he only has a few years of tackle play.

He was a wide receiver, turned tight end, turned tackle, and his feet are extremely light, and he moves fluidly like a premier pass blocker. When you think of how fast he picked things, the age can be relieved.

His arm length comes in at the 23rd percentile, and his arm length is in the 41st. This not disqualifying, but does show that he has another weakness to overcome physically. Still, if that is what pushes down what could be a quality starting left tackle to pick 39, then the Chicago Bears have to weigh the pros and cons heavily because on paper the fit would make far too much sense.
