As this week carries on, there will be more and more speculation about possible trades happening right before the 2022 NFL Draft. The Chicago Bears haven’t been involved in any whispers just yet, But, that could change.

Some of the more recent rumors involved names like Baker Mayfield and Deebo Samuel. What will the Cleveland Browns do with Mayfield, now that they have Deshaun Watson? One team has already been ruled out of that conversation.

Could Samuel be on the move before the draft? San Francisco 49ers general manager John Lynch certainly didn’t sound like he wanted to entertain that idea.

This is the week where, sometimes, rumors are nothing but fluff. However, the possibility that something big happens is still there.

Could the Chicago Bears pull off a major trade before the 2022 NFL Draft?

For the Bears to pull off a big trade before the draft would mean one thing, first and foremost: Ryan Poles is convinced that a particular player would be a game-changer for this roster.

Chicago only enters the draft with six picks this year, and none coming in the first round. With the way some deals have gone down this offseason, the Bears might need a first-round selection if they wanted to make anything significant happen.

The Bears have several needs right now, including offensive line, wide receiver, and cornerback among others. One of those positions could be addressed with a home run type of trade, should Poles want to go for the jugular.

Could any one of these following trades become a possibility before Thursday night?
