4. Wide Receiver – Defensive Line – Linebacker

In this scenario, we see that one of the Bears’ top choices at pick 39 falls. Based on mock drafts and our recent rankings this seems to come down to three names. Skyy Moore, George Pickens, and Christian Watson all may be gone by pick 39, but there is a good chance all three are on the table as well.

If that is the case, the Bears could certainly look in this direction. Then, the team will want to hit their need for a three-technique. The best outcome would be two names, DeMarvin Leal and Perrion Winfrey. If they are able to see either of them drop to pick 48, it would be hard to pass up.

Then, as noted, with tackles and cornerbacks being scarce, and the team thinking that they can find a guard on day three, they go linebacker. This makes sense because the team has been connected to Brian Asamoah and Christian Harris in the pre-draft process. Both are expected to get taken in this range so it does seem as though the Bears are at least preparing for a scenario where the board tells them to go linebacker in round three.

If they went with some variation of Christian Watson, DeMarvin Leal, and Christian Harris as their top three picks, how would fans be feeling?
