2. Is Kenyon Green falling to the Chicago Bears?

Earlier in draft season, there were zero mock drafts that had Kenyon Green going to the Chicago Bears. Then, the NFL combine happened and Green did not perform well. Still, it did not pick up steam until the team brought in Green for a pre-draft visit. Then, it started to become a thought that teams were low enough on Green to see him fall to the Chicago Bears.

Even more recently two NFL draft insiders discussed Green potentially falling out of the first round with a knee issue. Dane Brugler noted that it is more a long-term, down-the-road question, but it could split tiebreakers between prospects.

This could leave Green as one of the best linemen to fall out of the first round. With that in mind, it is easy to mock him to the Chicago Bears. He would just be seven picks away. The Bears would have to be okay with his concerns, but it is clear from them bringing him in that there is some sort of interest from the Bears’ side. This would probably be their best-case scenario, and similar to Jaylon Johnson when a stud fell due to down-the-road injury questions.
