Defensive front options for Chicago Bears

Defensive Line

7. Travis Jones

8. Logan Hall

9. Perrion Winfrey

10. DeMarvin Leal

The Chicago Bears appear to be interested in drafting a three-technique. If they do so, it would probably come with one of their first two picks. That is because there are probably some good options for them in this area.

Travis Jones is more of a nose tackle, but his athletic testing shows that there is more meat on the bone when he hits the NFL. Logan Hall has been a name connected to Chicago often and the question is whether he falls.

With Perrion Winfrey and Leal, they appear to be backup options to Hall if he does not make it to pick 39. These two options would probably be in play for 48 and not 39.

Linebacker

11. Nakobe Dean

12. Christian Harris

The linebackers were tough to peg and you would have to find a good case that they are the best players available to draft them. In the case of Dean and Harris, you can at least make the argument that they should be on the final 16 list.

For Dean, he is just a small Roquan Smith and the last of the UGA defenders to get drafted. With the rest going round one, he will not be far behind.

Harris may be a reach for some, but the Bears did meet with him which makes it hard to dismiss him. Harris fits the athleticism and downhill thumper ability and he is a linebacker from Alabama which can often be a good pick.
