7. Rasheed Walker, OT, Penn State

Rasheed Walker is one of the bigger unknowns of the draft class. It feels as though his ceiling Is higher than most still available, but his floor also is quite low, which is why he fell this far.

Walker was a three-year starter at left tackle for Penn State. That alone can intrigue on day three. At times he showed upside of a starting NFL player, but at others he showed a lack of care or understanding to use his technique.

Too often Walker was relying on his athletic traits to beat defenders and there are too many questions about whether or not he can do that in the NFL, and whether he not he can improve on his mental lapses in technique.

For a player who relies on athleticism, it was disappointing to see that he did not work out in the pre-draft activity such as the NFL combine. He has been healthy at PSU but has had recent injuries in the process. We will see where he ends up, but the upside says that at some point it is worth taking a shot on him.

Getting someone who can compete at left tackle this late would be a huge win.
