10 best prospects still available for Chicago Bears on day 3

4. Bo Melton, WR, Rutgers

Bo Melton fits into the same philosophy that would get some of these other wide receivers drafted. Depending on who you asked you could hear that Bo Melton was a better prospect than Velus Jones.

Melton has similar special teams’ upside and similar speed. The big difference is that Melton has a more dynamic route tree. To be fair to Jones, he is stronger than Melton, has a bigger catch radius, and can haul in more contested passes. They are slightly different wide-outs, but they both have the speed element that should stand out to Chicago.

Drafting Velus Jones should not stop the team from going wide receiver on day three, and the Chicago Bears should be going after the type of player similar to Bo Melton.
