1. Kyler Gordon Athletic Profile

Kyler Gordon only ran a 40-yard dash at the NFL combine, but he did do the rest of his workout at this Pro Day. Perhaps one reason that he fell out of round one is that his 40 times was lower than expected, but his workout at his pro day was right in line with what GMs and scouts expected.

Below you can see how the athletic profile of Kyler Gordon compares to Jaylon Johnson when he came out of college. Johnson is slightly faster, but Gordon is more athletic.

They are about the same height and weight. Gordon put up more on the bench and even had a better 10 and 20-yard split despite a slightly worse 40-time.

Still, the jumps are great, and the change of direction that is highlighted in the shuttle and 3-cone is exactly what you would expect to see from Kyler Gordon.

The 40-yard dash is arguably not great but in the 61.5% percentile speed is still above average. From there, the rest is green, showing closer to elite status.
