2. Chicago Bears must like Nicholas Morrow
Nicholas Morrow is one of the most under-discussed players the Chicago Bears added this offseason. It is fair considering Morrow was injured and out for the entire year last year, so he is not on the radar for anyone.
Still, it is pretty obvious that he is going to be a starter. The Bears let a lot of the depth from the linebacker room grow, and only added Morrow and Matt Adams. It makes a UDFA likely to make the roster, but that is a tall ask for him to beat out Morrow by week one.
The Bears worked out Christian Harris and Brian Asamoah. Asamoah went five picks before Velus Jones while Harris went four picks after Jones. It is clear that they were both round three options depending on how the board broke.
You could say that the board broke well for Nicholas Morrow because if Harris or Asamoah is here they are in line to start next to Roquan Smith. Now, it is assuredly Morrow. That is refreshing though for Morrow.
