3. Jean Delance

The Chicago Bears UDFA may end up being the player to watch this summer at training camp. Jean Delance had an up-and-down career at Florida but compared to Souther, and even Illinois, you can get excited about someone who blocked the best the SEC has to offer. The issue is that Delance is mostly traits and little production.

Delance has extremely long arms, and his profile only suits him best at tackle. His feet are sloppy but he has the athletic upside that says that if a team can get him under control they could go a long way. The big thing going for Delance is the team has not set in stone anything at tackle. Reports are that Teven Jenkins took most snaps there so far, but he could shift back to left tackle, where he played last season.

Considering neither Jenkins nor Delance have played right tackle in the NFL, it is fair to say that Delance has a chance to start. Even if Larry Borom becomes the competition, that may favor Delance even more, despite Borom playing right tackle last year.
