These last few receivers have little to no chance of remaining in Chicago

Chris Finke

It is possible that Chris Finke forces his way on the team, but I just don’t see it. Maybe he makes the practice squad. Finke has a former connection to Ryan Poles while in Kansas City, but that doesn’t mean he’s going to make the final roster. I liked his chances before the Dante Pettis and Tajae Sharpe signings — now, not so much.

Isaiah Coulter and Nsimba Walker

These were the other two holdovers of the former Chicago Bears regime. Nsimba Walker was brought into Chicago to be a return guy last year, but he muffed those chances. Coulter has been a practice squad guy and never pushed his way into action. Neither of these players is likely to stick around with the new regime.

Kevin Shaa

Kevin Shaa is more likely to hope for a spot on the practice squad than to make the final roster. He has no chance to push any of the other receivers out unless multiple injuries occur. Even then, I’d assume the team would look elsewhere through trades, free agency, or waivers. Shaa is a UDFA out of Liberty — where third-round quarterback Malik Willis made his mark. Shaa is another 4.3 guy but that won’t help him.
