9. Eddie Jackson

This season is as big as any for Eddie Jackson. On paper, the secondary is ready to go in 2022. They added Kyler Gordon to Jaylon Johnson and brought in Tavon Young for the slot. With Jaquan Brisker in the box, it should push Jackson back into the centerfield role, and help him play to his strengths.

If they can get a big year out of Jackson, the secondary is going to carry the team and he is going to win back the love of the fans. Still, the reason Jackson is only at number nine is that he becomes one of the bigger questions of the group as well. Sure, there are two rookies and an oft-injured slot, but Jackson has been struggling, and last year was his worst season to date.

If Jackson does not perform in 2022, the team is going to find a better option as soon as 2023. However, a strong season from Jackson would make life so much easier for Ryan Poles, who would not have to be so hell-bent on finding another safety, allowing him to focus on other needs.
