The Chicago Bears have made so many changes to the roster that there is a chance that half of the 53-man roster is flipped over from a year ago. Two years from now, it may be completely different than the 2021 version of the team.

So, while there may be 20 or more additions this offseason that wind up making the roster, the top 10 will have to suffice for an off-season review for now.

Who are the 10 players who can impact the roster now, and going forward?

10. Braxton Jones, Chicago Bears Draft Pick

The first of the run-of-day-three additions in the 2022 NFL draft was Braxton Jones. Jones comes from Southern Utah, so while he checked the height, weight, and speed thresholds, there are plenty of questions as to what he will bring to the NFL.

Still, that gives him a bit more upside than a typical day three who just becomes a backup. This is a player who could wind up hitting the ground running, or struggling to make the roster.

Still, the upside is what makes him one of the best additions of the offseason, especially at the cost. Braxton Jones will have the chance to compete for snaps at left tackle, and the only player standing in his way is Larry Borom, who was a day three pick last year. Borom may be on the other end of players where he is a what you see is what you get prospect from the SEC.

Braxton Jones has a higher ceiling, and lower floor than Borom at the same time. Either way, a rookie with a chance to start is a nice addition.
