
3. Charles Snowden
Charles Snowden is in an interesting situation. He is an edge rusher, but most would look at him as a 3-4 outside linebacker more than a 4-3 defensive end. Still, the big thing with Snowden was that his size made him abnormal for either spot. He is long but lankier than your typical NFL edge.
One area the Chicago Bears may look into using Snowden is as a SAM linebacker. This allows him chances to rush off of the edge, but still how versatility can be used in a different scheme.
Snowden is another UDFA entering year two, which means Poles inherit a player with plenty of team control. With the practice squads staying expanded even after the pandemic, Snowden could certainly stick around as one of the Bears’ top 69 options.
