9. Jeremiah Attaochu

Jeremiah Attaochu is one of the most forgotten players on the Chicago Bears. It is almost a given that he will not be on the team for the long haul, the question is just how long he sticks around.

Attaochu is not a bad player and is reliable depth. That is what Ryan Pace signed him for, and It was a fine signing. The big issue is that Attaochu is best in a 3-4 scheme. He was good at giving Robert Quinn a blow and taking snaps away from Quinn that was typically when the edge players would drop into coverage and defend the run.

The Bears are not going to drop their edge rushers into coverage anymore, so the versatility that Attaochu brings is a bit lessened. Beyond that, even after losing Khalil Mack, the additions of Al-Quadin Muhammad and Dominique Robinson are much more in line with the scheme the Bears want to deploy than anything Attaochu does.

Attaochu may even ask to get released so that he can jump on with a team interested in him. He also may let the Bears play out the string, and stick around as depth for one season if they need him.
