8. Duke Shelley

Duke Shelley and Kindle Vildor are not going to be joining the list of solid day three Ryan Pace picks. They both got chances to start last season and both of them proved that they may not be getting many more chances, at least for the Chicago Bears.

Jaylon Johnson and Kyler Gordon are obviously at the top of the list of cornerbacks but below that, it does open up. Tavon Young was signed to jump into the slot. He can get injured at times, but the team has also been moving Thomas Graham into the slot with a chance to take over the backup job.

If the Chicago Bears have their top four cornerbacks, and two of them are in the slot it is unlikely that their fifth or sixth cornerback will also be slot options. The team may only keep five cornerbacks as it is.

If Young is healthy, and Graham is going to stick in the slot then the odds of Duke Shelley making the roster just went down dramatically.
