5. Thomas Graham
Ryan Pace has been great on day three of the NFL draft, arguably better than in the first round. The next in line could be Thomas Graham. If Pace was able to leave Poles a young starting cornerback it would be a huge help for the rebuild.
Graham hardly played for the Bears last season, because Pace was so concerned with winning in the present he was not worried about the future. Still, when Graham did get on the field he flashed.
Of course, the Bears added Kyler Gordon and still have Jaylon Johnson. But, the team has been working Graham into the slot this season. On the make side, if Graham can become the starting slot cornerback this season, the team has him on a cheap contract for two more seasons, and their secondary is already complete.
On the flip side, if Graham cannot get onto the field or make any sort of rising up the depth chart then the team will be inclined to replace him in the upcoming offseason. As a late-round pick, the team will not have any issues giving him the quick hook. Things could go either way for Graham rather quickly.
