10 Stock Up Chicago Bears from mandatory OTAs
The Chicago Bears finished up their mandatory OTA sessions. Now, we have a long wait until the start of training camp. While the OTA practices are not much of a huge indicator of what is to come, it is our first point in how these players are viewed moving forward.
We will use this to see how things change when training camp opens up. So, while these players did not do much of anything yet, they also have the arrow pointing up in the right way after OTAs finished?
10. Jaquan Brisker, Safety
Jaquan Brisker has hit the ground running as one of the top performers in the OTA sessions. With Brisker, the reports have been less about what he has done, although he has taken every snap as a first-team safety. However, it has been the way that he has conducted himself as a leader in the locker room has already been felt.
He appears to be a vocal presence, a leader by example, and someone who does not take practice reps off. When you walk into OTAs as a rookie and are acting like a veteran by the end of the week, it is going to get talked about.
We all knew that Brisker would be in line to start as a rookie, but the positive buzz has to have fans thinking this is a long-term centerpiece on the defense. This should be something that he will be continuing into training camp, fans will soon see his intensity up close.
